The Leap Coaching Group offers coaching to leaders, executives and individuals seeking personal and/or professional growth. Through regularly scheduled sessions with our highly experienced coaches, clients build their leadership confidence, work through current and potential obstacles and find the momentum to move forward with their goals. The following are some frequently asked questions regarding our coaching services.

What is leadership coaching?

Leadership coaching is a series of one-on-one sessions between a coach and client that allows clients to explore who they are and what they want out of their careers and lives. These interactions, over time, allow clients to better understand themselves, work towards their goals and create the life they want. Coaching sessions can explore many aspects of the client’s life including work/life balance, inspiring teams, working with different personalities, building confidence, career acceleration and advancement, career transition and conflict management. Clients choose what is most important to them and, together, we explore the possibilities.

How does it work?

We offer multiple options for coaching sessions, including scheduling one-on-one bi-weekly or weekly sessions that can be conducted in person, via phone or videoconference with clients, depending on their preference. Typically this includes 2 hours of coaching per month over a 6-month agreement. Shorter or longer agreements can be requested. Fees are agreed upon during the first exploratory session.

What can you expect from your coach?

You can expect your coach to be honest with you, sharing feedback and insight without judgment. We will also hold the space for you to work through challenges in a safe and supportive environment. We will listen carefully, be curious to probe deeper and to drive a different level of awareness. We will help you set your goals and become an accountability partner for you to achieve them. We will maintain strict confidentiality, respecting the client and coaching relationship.

What should you be ready to do as a client?

When you enter into a coaching relationship, you need to be ready to lean into the work of self-development. You will hear feedback and sometimes be challenged to look at your situation through a different perspective. Embracing feedback and the opportunity to learn will be vital to your success. You will also get the most of any coaching relationship if you are willing to listen, explore and realize that these sessions are for you!
